Terms of service.
The service
FrameDrop is a Spotlight-style image search launcher for macOS 26 or later on Apple silicon. The 7-day trial is the complete app and asks for no payment method. When the trial ends, a subscription is required to keep using it: $4.99 per month, renewing automatically until you cancel. Subscribing gives you a licence key to activate in the app. Cancel anytime; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Your licence
You may install and use FrameDrop on Macs you own or control. The app and the site are licensed to you, not sold. Do not resell access, share licence keys publicly, attack or overload the service, or work around the trial and licensing limits.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for anything unlawful, and do not try to retrieve content the safety gate refuses. Accounts that abuse the service may be blocked.
The images
Results come from an openly licensed corpus: public domain, CC0 and attribution images, with share-alike images filtered out by default. Attribution travels with every copy. That said, licence metadata comes from third parties and can be wrong, and no filter catches everything. Before commercial use, check the image page yourself: give credit where it is due, and respect share-alike obligations where they apply. If you own rights in an image we serve and want it removed, email fent.zahid@gmail.com with the image page and proof of ownership, and it will be taken out in good faith.
Availability
The service is provided as is, without uptime promises. It may change, pause, or stop; saved preferences on your Mac are unaffected either way.
Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by our payment provider at checkout; we never see or store your card details. Cancel anytime from your account or by emailing support. If you write to fent.zahid@gmail.com within 14 days of a charge, that period will be refunded, no questions asked beyond identifying the payment.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Ownership
The app, the site, and these words are ours. The images belong to their creators and licensors, as credited.
Changes and law
Material changes will move the effective date above. Continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Kolkata, West Bengal having jurisdiction. Questions: fent.zahid@gmail.com.
